He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Jones and Cora Jones (Duncan); and his brothers, Doug Jones and Sherman Jones. He is survived by: his wife Lois Jones (Hobbs); his children, Robin Wittman (George) and John Jones, Jr.; his siblings, Donald Jones, Earl Jones, Jr. (Denise), Larry Jones (Susie) and Carol Pearson; his brother-in-law Jessie "J. D." Hobbs, Jr.; his grandsons, Dylan Wittman and Brad Wittman; and his great grandchild Carter Wittman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
