He was predeceased by: his parents, Buhel Ballard and Catherine Ballard (York). He is survived by: his wife Christine Ballard (Williams); his children, Levi Ballard, John Humerick and Tina Savage; and his siblings, Jay Ballard, Lori Mynhier, Brenda Powell and Becky Riddell. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and many Nieces and Nephews.

“Gary and I grew up with each other. On July 1, 1983 we were married at a small church in the country. We were married 20t years together. It went south due to his drinking,cheating and physical and mental abuse to the children and me. He was not quite the faithful person that I thought.I closed that door due to his longtime unfaithfulness with Christina Humeric Ballard,who became his wife. Christina was a devious home wrecker along with Gary. They tried to torment me and my children for 19 years”
