She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Brown and Christine Brown. She is survived by: her husband Doug Astor; her children, Doug Astor (Christie) of Miamisburg, Brian Astor (Angela) of Troy and Kelli Brooks of Miamisburg; her grandchildren, Tucker, Holden Brooks, Ryan Astor, Erica Ernst (Ben), Miranda Martin (Sean), Kamryn Brooks, Lauren, Sydney and Hayley Astor; her great grandchildren, Nolan, Emery, Myah and Evelyn; her brother Kenny Brown (Connie); her nephews, Aaron Brown (Jami), Brad Pompos (Courtney), Aaron Mitchell (Amanda) and Kevin Brown; and her pet Teddy.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jacob's Lutheran Church in Elaine's memory.
