She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilber Whitaker and Ella Whitaker; her husband Bill Young; and her sisters, Wilberta "Bill" Chamberlain and Sue Whitaker.

She is survived by: her sons, Dale Young of Miamisburg, Duane Young (Kathy) of West Carrollton and Darrel Young of Miamisburg; her grandchildren, Christopher Young (Carly), Myke Young (Jessica), Melanie Van Leeuwen (Drew) and Sarah Wade (Drew); her great grandchildren, Kyerstin, Skylar Young, Jaylynn Lewis, Julie, Alivia Young, Tatum, Sloane Van Leeuwen and Conner Wade; her sister Patti Whitaker; and her brothers-in-law, Don Chamberlain and Jerry McMurchy. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
