He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Elisabeth "Liz" (Prouty); his stepchildren, Carin Woolley (Christian) and Christopher Truden; his grandchildren, Elisabeth, Mason, Grant and Caroline Woolley; his son Matthew Squire (Elissa); his grandchildren, Gunnar, Paisley and Finley; his brothers, John (Wendy Cutler) and Paul (Tere); his nieces, Georgia, Tara and Amanda; and his parents, Joann S. Scheele and William E. Scheele.
