She was predeceased by: her parents, William Pence and Lois Pence (Loomis); and her brothers, William and Robert Pence. She is survived by: her husband John Komon; her children, Melanie Komon, John Komon, Jr. and Joseph Komon (Sandi); her grandchildren, Brittany, Brandon, Tiffany, Allison and Ryland; and her sister-in-law Karen Pence. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
