It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Jerome Newbury of Metamora, Ohio, born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on June 8, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elwyn Newbury and Ruth Newbury (Schumann); his wife Carol Ortman; his children, Sandra Liberty (Eric), Dan (Barb) and Don (Deanna); his grandchildren, Lance (Alicia), Casey (Justin), Jordan (Courtney) and Jacob (Sara); and his great grandchildren, Owen, Clark and Collin.
