We bid farewell to Richard A. Varcho of Mentor, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 14, 2025 at the age of 78. Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Varcho and Eleanor Varcho. He is survived by: his wife Christine; his children, Heather Hafner and Michael Varcho; his grandchildren, Ella, Ryan, Logan Hafner and Elise Varcho; and his brothers, Bob (Barb), Randy and Raymond (Deborah). He is also survived by extended family and lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home (6330 Center St, Mentor, OH 44060). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Richard's memory to the American Cancer Society or the Wounded Warrior Project—two causes that held special meaning to him.
