She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Martin and Alice Martin (LaRue); her husband Robert Bender; and her brothers, James, Gary and Patrick Martin.

She is survived by: her son Dennis Bender (Amy) of Mentor; and her siblings, Don Martin (Ilo) of Pandora, Shirley Kananen (Phil), Sandra Kloo (late David) and Brenda Nelson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
