She was predeceased by: her parents, John Quinlan and Mary Quinlan; and her sister Mary Dahlhausen (late William). She is survived by: her children, Colleen (Kovac), Wilson (Mark), Gina Varcelli, Elena DiFranco, Anthony "TJ" DiFranco, Kathleen Zdanowicz (Thomas) and Jenifer Goodwin (Michael); her son-in-law Harry Varcelli; and her siblings, Timothy Quinlan (Joanne), John Quinlan (Elaine) and Ann Veronica Stavrenos (late Peter).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Kay to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
