June W. McCarthy Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of June W. McCarthy in Mentor, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 18, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid June farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For June is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Richard Pond and Louisa Ann Pond.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Bede the Venerable Catholic Church (9114 Lakeshore Blvd, Mentor, OH 44060). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at the Mentor Cemetery (6881 Hopkins Rd, Mentor, OH 44060).
In lieu of flowers, donations in June's memory can be made to the St. Bede Garden Ministry, c/o St. Bede The Venerable Catholic Church, or the Wildwood Garden Club at Mentor Wildwood Cultural Center.
