With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce Anne Chorman in Mentor, Ohio, born in Painesville, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 8, 2024 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Jolliffe (Ruth) and Almira Jolliffe (Babcock); her husband Carl Harris Chorman of Chorman's Floor Covering; and her sister Joanne King (Jolliffe). She is survived by: her sisters, Jan Pomfrey (Doug) of Painesville Ohio and Claudia Jolliffe of Naples Florida; her daughters, Kathy Flora (Steve) of Cleveland Heights, Debbie Middleton (Jim) of Madison, Sue Blabolil of Madison, Cindy Barnhart (late David) of North Huntingdon, PA and Vicki Chorman of Columbus; her grandchildren, Beth Hixson (Dan), Amy Hurst (Tom), James Middleton, Joe Middleton (Falicia), Cory Blabolil (Angela), Casey Blabolil (Alison), Katie Smith (Steve), Heather Bacha (BJ), Tiffany Hitchins (Gary) and Little; her great grandchildren, Sam Hixson, Emma McLean (James), Brett Hixson (Lena), Madeline Hurst (Reid Bolen), Brycen Hurst (Isabelle), Aislyn Hurst, Cohen Hurst, Gillian Hurst, Logan Middleton, Riley Middleton, Madison Blabolil, Sofia Bacha, Stella Hitchins and Gary Hitchins; and her great great grandchild Noelle Hixson.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home (667 Mentor Ave, Painesville, OH 44077). A memorial service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
