He was predeceased by: his parents, James F. Ward and Frances Ward; his brothers, James (Nancy) and William; and his former wife Marianne Abraham Ward.
He is survived by: his children, Michele Baker (John), Thomas (John Caccia), Sean (Kristi), Katie Kirschner (Todd) and Kevin (Tina); his grandchildren, Erin, Sarah, Michael, Abby, John, Kelly, Finn, Livi, Melanie, Megan, Arlo, Bridget and Ames; his siblings, Patricia Coyne (William) and Robert Ward (Rosemary); and his siblings-in-law, Lawrence Carns (Sandra) and Lois Carns. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home (6330 Center St, Mentor, OH 44060). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St John Vianney Church (7575 Bellflower Rd, Mentor, OH 44060).
