He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Betty Ann Matyazic Attwood; his parents, John Attwood Sr. and Ella Bolden Attwood; his children, Jacquilynn Herringshaw (Ned Hyland), Debra Boehlefeld (Gregg), John Jay Attwood (Romanca) and Kristin Comisar (Marc); his grandchildren, Bradley (Stephanie), Ashley (Patrick), Michael (Casey), Mitchell (Kristen), Halle (Eric), John Reece (Khrystyan), John Sage (Justine), Kendall (Austin), Jake, Avery and Joshua; his great grandchildren, Paisley, Adelaide, Luxley, Rosaline, Juliette, Harper, Violet, James, Charlotte and Palmer; and his siblings, Edith Eckerman Clarke and LaVerne Bohr.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lakeside Yacht Club (4851 N Marginal Rd, Cleveland, OH 44114).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his name to a local charity of choice or to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation reflecting John's lifelong commitment to giving back.
