She was predeceased by: her parents, William and Helen. She is survived by: her husband Richard Smith of Chardon, OH; her children, Jennifer Pearson (Justin) of Murfreesboro, TN and David Smith of Windsor, OH; her grandchildren, Jamison, Jesslyn and Juliana Pearson; and her sister Mary Beth Miller (Bob) of Crossville, TN.

In lieu of flowers, gifts may be donated to Huntsburg Baptist Church in Jan's name.
