He is survived by: his sons, Joseph and Michael Shannon; his siblings, Thomas Shannon, Jill Patton, Kim Valentine and Sheri Lucey; and his nieces and nephews, Charlie Shannon, Kelly Shannon, Zack Shannon, Billy Patton, Julie Felice, Rachel DiTomaso, Patrick Lucey and Richard Lucey.
