He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Higgins and Bernice Higgins (Nelson); and his brother William Patrick Higgins. He is survived by: his children, John Vondrick (Andrea Gordon), Vanessa Shockey (Randy), Jason Vondrick (Laura), Katie Nero, Paul Higgins and Jaime Perry (Jason); his grandchildren, Bailey Higgins, Jake Vondrick, Leia Vondrick, Kira Vondrick and Joseph Vondrick; his great grandchild Miley Gedeon; and his sister-in-law Carolee Higgins.
