He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Charles Barko and Helen Violet Barko; his children, Lewis and Geza Jr.; his stepchildren, Shirley (Thomas), Betty (James), Peter (Judy) and Ella (Dennis); his granddaughter Cindi Olecki (Michael); and his brother Louis Barko.
He is survived by: his wife Sadie Kate Barko; his children, Edward Barko (Joanne) and Chapman; his stepson James (Jane); his grandchildren, Cari Barko Daley (Randy), Jodi Barko and Edward Barko II (Jillian); his stepgrandchildren, Sheila, Marvin, Pattie, Pamela, Timothy, Victoria, Michael, Brian, Teresa, Gregory, Anthony, Donna, Tammy, Debbie and Jenny (Frank); and his great grandchildren, Jake Daley, Katie Daley, George Olecki, Abbi Olecki, Kennedy Abshire, Geza III, Abshire and Conner Barko. He is also survived by many Step Great grandchild, Nieces and Nephews.
