He was predeceased by: his parents, David E. Ostrander and Patricia Ann Ostrander (Giering); his wife Alma "Cindy" Ostrander; and his sister Rose Kankula. He is survived by: his children, David Ostrander Jr., Tiffany M. Ostrander (Herold) and Tonya Rafalke; his siblings, James Ostrander and Gail Ostrander; and his grandchildren, Thomas Rafalke, Zachary Rafalke, Tatianna Rafalke and David F. Ostrander III. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
