David H. Coyne Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David H. Coyne of Mentor, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 15, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Isabella Coyne and Thomas Coyne. He is survived by: his sibling Raised; his wife Erna Schmitt; his sister Rose; his grandsons, A. J. and David H. Coyne II; and his children, David (Sherie), Lorna (Patrick), Tom (Stephanie), Colleen (Kenneth) and Jack (Laurie). He is also survived by two brothers, two sisters, 17 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home (38001 Euclid Ave, Willoughby, OH 44094). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Mary of the Assumption Church (8560 Mentor Ave, Mentor, OH 44060).
