She was predeceased by: her husband James E. McArthur Jr.; her children, James E. McArthur III and Betty Lee McArthur (Darrin); her parents, Roy Gilmore and Betty Gilmore; her brother-in-law Roger Smyth; and her nephew Brett Gibner.

She is survived by: her children, David A. McArthur and Karoline L. Ferencak; her grandchildren, John Kamm, Leah Hapanowicz (Teddy), Morgan Ferencak, Nathan Ferencak (Elizabeth Montgomery) and Sean McArthur; her sister Diane Smyth; her nieces, Kimberly Sharrow, Debbie Roche (Tim) and Peggy Bogacki (Mike); and her nephew Scott Gibner (Donna).
