With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Ellen Schriner (Mentor, Ohio), born in Cleveland, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 8, 2024 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Ovacek and Helen Ovacek; and her sister Shirlee Ovack. She is survived by: her husband Jack Schriner; her children, Susan Campensa, Shirley Swetel (Mark), Sharon Hasebein, John Schriner (Stacey) and Michael Schriner; and her grandchildren, Steven, Shannon (Keith), Samantha, Hannah, Michael (Jodi), Jennifer, Kathryn (Santana), Madelyn, Elizabeth, Abigail, Sam and Sydney. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Monreal Srnick Funerals & Cremations (35400 Curtis Blvd, Eastlake, OH 44095). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Mentor Cemetery (6881 Hopkins Rd, Mentor, OH 44060).
