It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Arthur Schmiege of Mentor on the Lake, Ohio, born in Owosso, Michigan, who passed away on July 2, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Schmiege and Wilma Schmiege; his daughter Kristina Schmiege; and his brother Philip Schmiege. He is survived by: his wife Karen V. Schmiege; his children, Jonathan Schmiege, Heather Betz (Charles), Jennifer Mayers (Shawn) and Stephanie Partin; his grandchildren, Peyton, Ella, Austin Schmiege, Kira and Triana Mayers; his sibling Glen Schmiege (Beth); and his siblings-in-law, John Schroeter (Mary) and Carol Schmiege.
