He was predeceased by: his great grandchild Brenton Hemberger; his parents, Merland B. Saxe and Alverna J. Saxe (Andrews); his sisters, Marie Szucs, Jane Medvec, Linda Wickman Grace Naples and Donna Ritts; and his brother-in-law Carl Ritts.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce M. Saxe (Gates); his daughters, Deborah Mitchell, Theresa Petersen and Patricia Wintle (Mark); his grandchildren, Thomas Pitt (Kassie), Brandon Luke, Daniel Mitchell (Lisa), Damian Mitchell (Gabi), Danae Mitchell, Amber DiLiello (Jason), Amanda Wintle and Heather Davidson (Kyle); his great grandchildren, Alaina, Sophia, Giovanni, Ariana, Jaxson, Thomas, Zada and Mylana; his siblings, Edward Saxe (Mary) and Nancy Mellen; and his close friend Dave Lucas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
