He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Deborie J. Townson; his children, Christina L. Brancato (Michael), Sabrina A. Scott (Sean) and Kyle C. Townson; his grandchildren, Kammie Helmick (Zak), Allie Brancato-Manley (Christian), Shelby Scott, Sean Scott, Isabella Townson and Chad Townson; his great grandchild Annalynn Helmick; his mother Margaret Herbert (Chuck Taylor); his sister-in-law Linda Townson; his father Douglas Townson; and his brothers, Russell, Douglas and Brad Townson. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a private family service will be held.
