He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald D. Hamilton and Edna I. Hamilton (McMichael); his wife Betty M. Long; and his siblings-in-law, Robert, Eva Ritchie Sr., Jennie, Lewis Merkle Jr., Viola and Ril Miller.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Hamilton of Mendon and Beth Hoenie (Tom) of Celina; his grandchildren, Lisa Hoenie, Katie Vian (Jeff), John Hoenie and Joshua Hoenie; his great grandchildren, Jenna May and Alexis Renee Vian; and his sister Deanne VanTilburg (Norman) of Rockford. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
