It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerry D. Clay of Mendon, Ohio, born in Greenville, Ohio, who passed away on March 28, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrel W. "Boogie" Clay and Alberta M. Clay (Rider); his sisters-in-law, Marcia Clay, Marie Butcher and Lois Butcher; and also, Gale and Wilma Butcher (Alt).
He is survived by: his children, Tim Clay of Haviland, Terri Jutte of Celina and Traci Mendenhall (Kevin) of Scott; his brother Tom Clay of Mendon; his grandchildren, Chandler Clay, Katie Clay, Kaylie Joseph (Devin), Rachel Jutte, Jared Jutte, Cody Hagaman (Madison), Seth Mendenhall (Erika) and Taylor Hagaman; and his wife Sheryl. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
