He was predeceased by: his mother Blanche Hickernell; his former wife Janet Bess Hickernell; and his son David Hickernell. He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Hickernell; his brother James Hickernell (Connie); his children, Tyler Hickernell (Alora), Nancy Hickernell-Bonner (Greg), Danny Temple (Sally), Dave Temple, Tim Temple (Youko) and David Prutzman (Soňa); his grandchildren, Jeff Temple, Kristi Temple, Roia Schock (Don), Hunter Liljeroos, Sawyer Maier, Jordan Bonner, Gavin Bonner (Morgan), Amina Farki and Derek Prutzman; and his great grandchildren, Haven Schock and Kyson Cover. He is also survived by cousins, nephews, extended family and friends.
