He was predeceased by: his father Cloyd Burkheimer; his siblings, Cloyd Burkheimer (Patrica) and Linda Swany (Albert); his sister-in-law Donna Link (Kenny); and his pet Magic.

He is survived by: his wife Vickie Burkheimer (Miller); his daughter Tracey Wilkins (Brian); his siblings-in-law, Deb Barrett (Denny) and Ron Miller (Kassi); his grandchildren, Brenden Klosterman (Tara Harshbarger), Dylan Menchofer (Tiffany Crosby) and Mackenzy Wilkins; and his great grandchildren, Laiken Klosterman, Abalynn Klosterman and Eastyn Menchofer. He is also survived by nieces, and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews.
