He was predeceased by: his parents, William Smith and Hilda Smith; his son Christopher "Todd" Smith; and his sister-in-law Karen Smith. He is survived by: his wife Linda Smith; his children, Bryon Smith (Jennifer), Aaron Smith (Sheena), Scott Sandstedt (Wendy) and Denise White (Jeremiah); his stepdaughters, Sara Greider (John), Breanne Demmitt (Rodney) and Jessica Minnick (Glenn Tate); his siblings, Dan Smith and Sandra Smith; his grandchildren, Edward Andrew Parmer (Rachel), Lauren Staebler, Megan Staebler, Taylor Macey (Alicia), Maddison Minnick, Bridget Minnick, Mason Demmitt, Kaylee Demmitt, Zoe Smith, Ava Smith, Kayla Workman, Matthew Sandstedt and Scottie Sandstedt; and his great grandchild Bennett Parmer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
