It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Lee Coons of Medway, Ohio, born in Lima, Ohio, who passed away on September 2, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Allen and Thelma Rosella Coons (Kirshner); his wife Rita Jean Coons (Davis); his granddaughter Anna Marie Coons; his niece Tammy Lee Langdon (Brummitt); his half-sisters, Mary and Betty; and his cousin Heather Kirkpatrick.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Dorothy Fuerst; his sons, David Michael Coons (Angela), Christopher Allen Coons (Gerri) and Joseph Eric Coons (Joanne); his sister Karen Mitman (Ned); his half-brothers, Nelson Williams (Corinne) and Bruce Williams (Linda); and his cousins, Shirley and Marilyn (David). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
