He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Blackburn and Virdie Blackburn (Hunt); his son Ronald Mahovsky; and his siblings, Pauline Workman, Brad and Bo Blackburn.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Blackburn; his daughter Kimberly Mahovsky; his granddaughters, Elizabeth Mahovsky (Kraig), Melanie Erickson and Nicole Erickson; and his siblings, Donna Sue Pratt, Glen Blackburn, Emmerson Lee Blackburn (Carole), Bobby Blackburn (Deb) and Roy Joe Blackburn (Evey). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Please observe all Covid safety guidelines. A family celebration of his life will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in William's memory to InCare Hospice, 600 E. Smith Rd., Medina, OH 44256 for the compassionate care provided to him and his family.
