She was predeceased by: her aunt Joanne. She is survived by: her parents, Dean T. Dyrlund and Karen E. Dyrlund (Marsfelder); her husband John D. Gilbert; and her children, Elizabeth, Molly, Maeve and Liam. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, August 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Waite & Son Funeral Homes Medina Chapel (765 N Court St, Medina, OH 44256). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, August 31st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (606 E Washington St, Medina, OH 44256).
