She was predeceased by: her parents, James Kestranek and Bernice Kestranek; her daughter Ann Schmotzer; her sibling Beverly; and also Gary Schmotzer.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Schmotzer (Lawrence Carter) and Dawn Williams (Larry); her grandchildren, Nichole and Eddie; her daughter-in-law Renee Walters; and her brother James.
Family suggests donations may be made in Shirley's memory to Friends of City Dogs Cleveland, Ohio.
