Rodion J. Russin Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodion J. Russin (Medina, Ohio), born in Kingston, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 1, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Russin and Anne Russin (Wartella); his son David R. Russin; his brother-in-law Rudy Hollaway; and his parents-in-law, Marvin and Odell Hollaway.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Russin (Hollaway); his children, Taisia Russin and John R. Russin (John); his grandchildren, Brice A. Milla (Lisa), Matthew J. Milla (Jennifer) and Charles M. Naegle; his great grandchildren, Brielle A. Milla and Chase M. Milla; his siblings, Attorney Jonathan J. Russin (Antoinette), D. C. of Washington and Ellen Russin (Michael Cohen); and his sister-in-law Dr. Faye Holloway. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Services for Rod will be held in a private family ceremony at Waite & Sons Funeral Home on February 13th, 2021 at 2:00 pm that will be live-streamed due to the COVID-19 pandemic at http://www.waitefuneralhomes.com.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers that contributions be made to: Reverend Nicholas Gobora, Pastor of St. Stephens Orthodox Church, at 4233 Nichols Rd. Medina, Ohio 44256 in Rod's honor.
