He is survived by: his wife Joyce Brainard (Messenger); his sons, Bruce Brainard (Laura) and David Brainard; his stepchildren, Timothy Haury (Kathy), Terry Haury, Thomas Haury (Jill) and Jennifer Haury (Steve Jensen); his grandchildren, Max Brainard, Miranda Brainard, Brian Haury, Josh Haury, Derek Haury, Brittany Evans, Dustin Haury, Julianna Polansky and Kayla Polansky; his siblings, Frank Brainard (Jean), Dale Brainard (Cheryl) and Elaine Klink; and his sister-in-law Audrey Brainard.
