He was predeceased by: his sister Eleanor Craft of Dillwyn, VA.. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Tracy Soltesz (Chip), Teresa Schempp (Rick), Raymond L. O'Brien Jr. and Matthew O'Brien (Devon); his grandchildren, Alan Schempp (Kristie), Rachael Grubb (Austin), Doug Soltesz, Daniel Schempp, Shayna Soltesz (Marcus Jones), Ericka Schempp, Isaac O'Brien, Dylan O'Brien and Ainsley O'Brien; his great grandchildren, Kayla, Ethan Schempp and Zaire Jones; and his siblings, Helen Harsh of Oakland, MD, Mary O'Brien of Oakland, MD, Sue O'Brien of Oakland, MD, Janice Winebrenner of Oakland, MD, Joseph O'Brien Sr. and Charles O'Brien (Betty) of Terra Alta, WV.
