We are sad to announce that on October 31, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Marilyn Joyce Douglas of Medina, Ohio. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Snyder and Muriel Snyder; her husband Gary Edgar Douglas; and her granddaughter Jessica Douglas. She is survived by: her children, Mark W. Douglas (Jeri), Bradley S. Douglas (Joanne), Keith A. Douglas (Sandra) and Traci L. Douglas-Adamson; her grandchildren, Melissa, Heidi (James), Erica (Kyle), Bryan, Thomas "Brandon", Keith, Jr. (Jen), Scott, Tim (Danielle), Erin, Kristen, Lauren, Garrett, Austin, Rick (Sami), Veronica, Bradley "Cole", Jennifer (Eric) and Ashley (Ed); and her brother Kenneth "Darrell" Snyder. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brunswick United Methodist Church (1395 Pearl Rd, Brunswick, OH 44212). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Copley Cemetery (3770 Copley Rd, Akron, OH 44321). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 12:45 PM to 1:15 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, Marilyn's family request consideration for donations to be made to Brunswick United Methodist Church, General Fund, to benefit continued good works for God.
