It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John N Fyda of Medina, Ohio, born in Elmira, New York, who passed away on November 27, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Fyda and Elizabeth Fyda (Nelan); his brother Bob Fyda; and his parents-in-law, Steve and Pauline Sabo.
He is survived by: his son John Paul; his wife Paula Fyda (Sabo); his son Brendan Fyda (Paula); his siblings, Jim Fyda (Joanne), Kathy Fyda-Turner (Bill), Colleen Schafer (Jim), Tim Fyda (Marianne), Mary Beth Fyda (Stephan Bub) and Tom Fyda (Kristin); and his siblings-in-law, Mairead Fyda, Steve Sabo (Marylou) and Bill Sabo (Tanya). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; cousins and special friends.
Due to the pandemic, a private mass will be held on Saturday, December 5th at St. Francis Xavier Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or St. Francis Xavier School Annual Fund.
