He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Braatz and Sina Mae Braatz (Porter). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Braatz (Ferencz); his sons, James (Luba) and David; his stepdaughter Lisa; his grandchildren, Tristan, Baron, Tyne and Tessa; and his brothers, Richard (Ellen) and Kenneth (Lois).
