It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Porter (Medina, Ohio), born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on May 6, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Porter and Beatrice Porter; his siblings, Bobby, Willie James, James Edward, Ruby Ellis and Barbara DeJournett; and his grandson Xavier.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Porter (Bell); his sons, Herbert Porter II (Jamie) and Malcolm Porter; his grandchildren, Joseph, Isaiah, Darius, Olivia and Malcom II; his great grandchildren, Aubriaunna, Si-Lyss and Brice; and his siblings, Eunice Riley, Ricky Porter, David Porter and Steven Porter.
