He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Shaw and Florence Shaw (Yergin); his son Dale Shaw; his siblings, Harriett Randal and Richard Shaw; his daughter Gayle Ferrell; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Phillips, Wayne Mladek, Walter Skidmore and Linda Weber.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Shaw (Skidmore); his son Brad Hastings (Kathy); his grandson Chris Ferrell; his sister Janet Phillips; and his siblings-in-law, Pat Hodges, Jane Mladek, Ruth Skidmore, Dora Shaw, Paul Skidmore (Sally) and Jim Skidmore (Dawn). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
