He was predeceased by: his children, Pamela, Fran and Gary. He is survived by: his wife Frances Rose Schaldach (Malecki); his son Kurt Schaldach (Nina); his grandchildren, Kristen Cox (Frank Premura), Katie Kuhleman (Ethan), Donald Schaldach (Tara), Melanie Al-Rousan (Moe), James Petitt (Sarah) and Tim Petitt; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Abigail, Brooklyn, Hannah, Liam, Alia, Zayd, Zack, Moe, Mason and James Paul; and his siblings, Ralph Schaldach (Penny), Joanne Kalemba and Gladys Chicka (Robert).
