He was predeceased by: his brothers, Kaye Don, Alfred Jr. and Kenneth Brain; and his stepsons, Bryan and Daniel Tanko.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his children, Lori Brain (Dave), Gary Brain (Tonya), Lesa Pierson (Patrick), Scot Brain (Yuko), Eric Tanko (Faith) and Cheryl Snell (Kevin); his siblings, Bill Brain (Janet), Carol Lorig, Shirley Cates (Robert) and Helen Krasowski; and his sister-in-law Deloris Brain.
