Edward Kungli Obituary
Edward N. Kungli, age 79, passed away July 14, 2012 in Medina. He was born in Medina on September 5, 1932 to the late Anton J. and Yolan (Szatala). He was a mason for more than fifty years, retiring in 2000. Edward was an avid bowler and loved to hunt and fish. He served his country in the US Navy. Edward was the beloved father of Victor (Sonia) Kungli and Michael (Christine) Kungli; loving grandfather of Samantha, Victoria, Max, Nick, Emily.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Dolores, in 2011 and his brothers Tony and Elmer Kungli. Services will be held 4:00 pm, Sunday, July 22 at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina with Pastor David Anderson officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-4:00 pm at the funeral home on Sunday prior to the service.
Burial with military honors will be at 9:30 am, Monday, July 23, 2011 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd., Rittman 44270.
