He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Ray and Rebecca Ray (Richardson); his siblings, Mary, Ruth, Claramay and William; and his children, Eddie Ray, Jr. and Joanne Worthington.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Kirton, Clarabelle Ray, Wanda Ray, Willie Kirton and Tamira Phillips; and his stepsons, Willie Kirton, Michael Thomas and Devon Phillips. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
