She was predeceased by: her father Carl Sanders. She is survived by: her husband Charles D Brooks; her children, Jessica Vekas and Alex Vekas (Alli); her mother Christine Flannery; her brothers, Carl Sanders and Richard Sanders (Jenny); her grandchildren, Joey and June; and her sister-in-law Iris Lynn Acord. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren fondly as Lady/Nana.
