As David departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved David. Though David may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He is survived by: his wife Amy; his children, Molly and Jack; his parents, Sid Welch (Peggy Koontz) and Janet Griffing-LaBonne (Steve LaBonne); his brother James; his sister-in-law Debbie; and his nieces and nephews, Emmalyn and Audrey. He is also survived by sisters, brothers, and nephews by marriage, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
