He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Buchanan and Thelma Buchanan; and his sister Belva (Fred). He is survived by: his wife Gretchen; his daughters, Beth, Amy and Carla (David); his grandchildren, Emily (Max), Rebecca (Kai), Kayla (Peter), Shane, Aidan, Ethan, Gabriel, Makena and Seth; and his great grandchild Miles.
