We are sad to announce that on September 20, 2021, at the age of 82, Charles L Payne in Medina, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan 'Bud Payne, Jr. and Virginia (Eads); his wife Alverta 'Pug Payne; and his former wife Doris 'Dee Payne. He is survived by: his children, Teresa 'Tessie' Crowe (Greg), Roger Payne and Kimberly Stefanko (Jeff); his grandchildren, Dennis Martin, Jr. (Darlene), Jeremy Martin (Tracy), David Calvert and Casey Fisher (Ace); his great grandchildren, Ashleigh Johns, Ethan Martin, Austin Martin, Alex Fisher and Emma Fisher; his great great grandchildren, Cohen Wotring and Bristol Wotring; his sister Charlotte Hicks; his friend Fran Seymour; and his pet Roxy.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Charles' memory be made to the Medina SPCA, 8790 Guilford Rd, Seville, OH 44273.

“You are in our prayers and hearts, We are very sorry to hear of Chuck's passing. My first thoughts of him is how much he loved Roxy. He did spoil her which she deserved. She was so lucky to have had him for a dad. My next thought of him was how much his children loved him. You all will miss his physical presence but please know he is with his loved ones and friends in the unseen world.
